Thrupney bit- Threepence coin.
The old 3d, the English three pence. This lovely, unusually shaped
coin was issued with two designs. This, the thistle design is the finest,
especially when the background has been delicately cut away, leaving
the thistles proudly at the fore front. Each coin is hand pierced with
a small jewellers saw. The pattern on the coin is followed faithfully.
Each coin is the result of time, patients and enjo yment. A lovely pendant
for anyone.
