.Inspired by a two little birdies sitting on a branch in a tree opposite my workshop window. As with the funky bird on the spiral branch coin pendant, I decided that the sketch would really come to life if i carefully hand cut the design out of an old English penny coin. The design is freehand drawn onto the penny. Several holes are drilled and the sections are delicately cut away. The edges are filed, smoothed and finally polished. The end result is a lovely, original, recycled pendant with a fantastic history.
