Here are some simple photographs taken at our mobile workshop which
travels around various shows, exhibitions and festivals. The mobile
workshop often includes only a piercing saw, blades, a drill, a vice
and a chair to work from. And of course coins!
Below the pictures detail the cutting of an old English three pence
coin. Firstly holes are very small holes are drilled. The saw is 'fed'
into each hole. Each 'holed' section is then cut away. Delicately and
often painstakingly following the pattern of the coin. The end result
is quite beautiful.
